Your build. Your choice.

Submitting a build gives Techmerc permission to publish the approved description, photos, and optional nickname on this website. Nothing appears publicly until an administrator approves it. Email is optional, stays private, and is used only to contact you about your submission or request additional permissions.

Permission to publish here does not include permission to reuse photographs in YouTube videos, marketing, or unrelated publications. We would need to ask you separately.

What we keep

We store your submission, publication consent time and policy version, optional contact email, and moderation decision. Photos are processed to remove embedded metadata. GIF animation is preserved. We do not create public accounts or profiles. Submission forms use a security session cookie. IP addresses are processed to limit abuse; the submission limiter retains keyed digests for at most two hours, rather than storing raw addresses.

Pending submissions expire after 90 days; rejected submissions after 30 days. Approved projects remain until removal is requested. Optional emails are cleared after 90 days. Abandoned upload files are removed after 24 hours. These scheduled policies require the site operator’s daily cleanup job. Web-server logs and backups have separate retention controlled by the hosting operator; removing a live submission does not erase an already downloaded copy.

Remove your submission

Use the reference and private removal code shown after submission. This deletes the live project, images, email, and nickname, even if it has not been approved or its article is no longer published. The code is not stored in this browser automatically. Keep it private.

Save your removal receipt: it provides direct removal without sharing more personal information. The site operator can also locate and remove submissions through the private moderation area.
